The Coach House @Stewarts

Our spectacular building in the heart of Palmerstown Village has a long history of providing hospitality and we are proud to continue that tradition today.

The Coach House is a socially conscious business that believes in enabling people to reach their full potential and play an active role in their community.

We are proud to work in partnership with Stewarts Care's Employability Gateway Hub to achieve this vision, by creating a sustainable workplace for people with intellectual disability to gain valuable work experience and employment.  
 
Through this partnership, The Coach House offers an internship training programme in which interns gain hands-on, real-life experience in customer service, hospitality, barista training and more. To date, eight interns have participated in the programme with four participants progressing to full employment in the Coach House. The skills learned on the programme can also be transferred to other workplaces, ensuring the interns have their choice of workplace.

​We strive to further build on the success of this programme and provide employment to more people with intellectual disabilities into the future.

Since the early 1700s, the Coach House @Stewarts has served up a warm welcome to passengers travelling by stagecoach between Dublin and Galway.

Today, The Coach House is a vibrant community venue, providing high quality food in a relaxed, contemporary space. Our friendly team is passionate about providing an exceptional experience to our customers.
